....MUSHROOM & MEAT..¡CHAMPIÑONES Y CARNE!....

I remember doing my DTS. A few weeks have gone by and we had been eating mushrooms for quite some time because someone had given us a donation. Then one day, Elisama prayed for the food saying something like “Lord, thank you for the provision you have given us (mushrooms) but it would not be bad if you gave us meat, send us one ton of meat, amen.” 

A few days later, we received the ton. It was so much that that same day we opened the doors of our house to bless all our neighbors, the families of the students, and the staff that were there.

At the house we had in Madrid I also remember that I was the kitchen leader and our budget was not that much. We received "small" donations of mushrooms, until one day, Jorge, who is the one who gives us the mushrooms, arrived with half a ton. It was the same, we had to talk to the staff's families, we talked to churches, and we went out to distribute to the neighbors. 

Whenever we are blessed, we bless others.

Recuerdo estar haciendo mi DTS, ya habían pasado algunas semanas y llevábamos comiendo hongos durante bastante tiempo esto por que alguien nos había dado una donación. Entonces un día Elisama oro por los alimentos diciendo algo así “Señor gracias por la provisión que nos has dado(Hongos) pero no estaría mal que nos dieras carne, mándanos 1 tonelada de carne, amén.”.

Unos días después nos llegó la tonelada, era tanta que ese mismo día abrimos las puertas de nuestra casa para bendecir a todos nuestros vecinos, también a las familias de los estudiantes y staff que estábamos ahí.

En la casa que teníamos en Madrid también recuerdo que estaba de líder de cocina y nuestro presupuesto no era tanto, nos llegaban donaciones “chiquitas” de hongos, hasta que un día Jorge que es el que nos da los hongos, llegó con media tonelada y fue lo mismo tuvimos que hablar a las familias de los staff, hablamos a iglesias, salimos a repartir a los vecinos. 

Siempre que somos bendecidos, bendecimos a otros.
